The congress registration fees for accompanying persons include*:
- Opening and Closing Ceremonies
- Welcome Reception (19 years minimum)
- Two Vancouver tours (choose from below)
- Access to Technical Exhibition (18 years minimum) on Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12 only.
* Access to Scientific Program sessions is not included; limit of 3 accompanying persons per registrant; registered attendee must be a minimum of 18 years to attend included tours on an individual basis. If under the age of 18 years, the attendee must be accompanied on the tour by a registered accompanying person 18 years or older.

On-Site Congress Information
All Accompanying Persons tours will depart from and arrive back at Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) West. Accompanying Persons are required to pick up their badge at the Registration area at VCC West Level 1 prior to checking in at the Tour Desk, which is by the Registration area. The tickets from each selected tour will accompany their badge upon pick-up.
We suggest arriving 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the tour to pick up their badge (if not already done so) and to check-in at the Tour Desk.
Please note that if Accompanying Persons have not selected the tour(s) they wish to participate in, they may do so on a first come, first serve basis and upon tour availability on-site.

Guests will meet their guide for an easy 9 km ride along the dedicated and well maintained bike trails of the park. Touring through the best known parts of the temperate rainforest oasis, highlights of this interactive tour include: the 800-year-old cedar trees, Coastal First Nations Totem Poles at Brockton Point, the 9 O’Clock Gun, Deadman’s Island, the Hollow Tree and Lost Lagoon. Riding is at a relaxed pace to take in the sights and unparalleled views of the Burrard Inlet, West Vancouver, Lions Gate Bridge and Vancouver. |

A guided tour of the city’s top three urban parks: Stanley Park, VanDusen Botanical Garden and Queen Elizabeth Park. A scenic drive through the downtown core and West End neighbourhood brings guests to Stanley Park. Opened in 1888, your tour through this urban park will include stops at some of the best of Stanley Park, including the Totem Poles at Brockton Point, the Rose Garden and the Shakespeare Garden.Guests will then make a short trip to VanDusen Botanical Garden, a spectacular 22-hectare green space in the heart of Vancouver’s Shaughnessy neighbourhood. Guests will tour the garden with a master horticulturalist and have time to also explore at leisure enjoying the grounds and new Visitor Building, a LEED platinum standard ‘living building’.Our final stop will be at Queen Elizabeth Park, a 52-hectare park in the heart of Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood with amazing views of the city & mountains.
